Privacy Policy

Quinns POS is operated by JumpingEarth Studio ("we", "us"). It provides laundry management software: a website, an API, and the admin, staff, and delivery apps. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and the choices you have. We follow the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Who is responsible for which data
For your shop account — your business details and the accounts of your admins, staff, and drivers — we decide how the data is used, so we are its personal information controller.
For the records your shop keeps — your customers, their orders, payments, and pickup locations — your shop is the controller and we process that data on your behalf, only to run the service for you. Your shop is responsible for telling its customers how their information is used.
What we collect
- Sign-up details: business name, owner's name, email, and optionally a phone number and address.
- Team accounts: names, usernames, roles, and the branch each person belongs to. Passwords are stored only in hashed form.
- Shop records: customer names, mobile numbers, addresses, notes, and pinned map locations; orders, items, payments, expenses, and pickup and delivery details.
- Driver locations: only when a driver chooses to pin a customer's location. We do not track drivers in the background.
- Technical data: sign-in tokens, server logs, and the information Google reCAPTCHA uses to protect the sign-up form from spam.
How we use it
- To run the service: create your account, sign your team in, and store and show your shop's records.
- To send account emails, such as your login details when you sign up.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To manage your plan, trial, and billing.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your shop's customer records for our own marketing.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to operate Quinns POS: cloud hosting and database providers, an email delivery provider, and Google reCAPTCHA. They only receive what they need to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your shop's data while your account is active, including while it is on the Free plan. If you ask us to close your account, we delete or anonymize its data within a reasonable time, except where the law requires us to keep it longer.
How we protect it
Each shop's data is kept separate from every other shop's. Access is limited by role — staff only see their own branch — and connections to the service are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the National Privacy Commission of a personal data breach as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to its processing, or get a copy of it. If you are a customer of a laundry shop, please contact that shop first, since it controls your records; we will help it respond. You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
Children
Quinns POS is a business tool and is not meant for children.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. For significant changes, we will also let shop owners know by email.
